Our Favourite Things To Do In Formby

Formby isn’t just where our home is, it’s absolutely where our heart is!  The ReformME team are blessed to live in our beautiful costal down and are passionate that we all enjoy and benefit from some of the special and unique things Formby has to offer!  Just in case you’re new to the area or you’re thinking of heading to Formby for a day out, we thought it may be helpful to share some of our simple pleasures and favourite businesses in Formby!

HEAD TO SEE THE RED SQUIRRELS…..meander through our beautiful Formby woodlands and nature trails and expect to spot Formby’s famous red squirrels nibbling on nuts or scrambling their way up the pine trees.  Other than a 99 with a flake on top or a delicious Crosby Coffee from the resident coffee van the only thing that will incur any cost is the national trust car park.  Nature at its finest!

Watch the SUNRISE OR SUNSET over our stunning coastline.  Blessed with breathtaking views over acres of woodland overlooking the wild Irish Sea, sitting on the top of one of Formby’s sand dunes is the perfect destination to watch the sunrise or sunset.  Just lie back, inhale the clean sea air, enjoy the gentle breeze and dream a little longer.

Check yourself into TIBU….for cocktails and the most  delightful sushi!  This place has serious weekend  vibes and comes highly recommended by the locals – the menu boasts unrivalled specialty sushi dishes alongside a range of divine international dishes.  If you’re heading to Formby on a Sunday, book in advance and treat yourself to a tasty and seriously delish Tibu Roast!

THE KIOSK –  Oz inspired destination that is home to coffee & smoothies specialists who boast the most incredible freshly made pastries.  This quirky kiosk is a hotspot with the locals and has become a favourite of  tourists who are heading to the beach! No doubt about it, when you visit this place, ‘you are exactly where you need to be’!  

Family favourite!  Check into Formby’s much loved SORRENTOS – a little piece of Italy in the centre of our village!   Delicious pizzas and pastas, happy and fun-loving vibes, walls decced with signed memorabilia from the many sporting heroes that frequent this family-run, high vibe eatery!
